Request: Roof Access Furnishing

My request is that a furnishing be added that gives us access to the roof of our homes. Whether it be a High Allagan Launch Pad, a Tornado Launcher from Bismarck, or an Aether Current that let's our FC members use flying mounts in the current Ward the house is in.


Certain plots do allow access to their roof in very creative ways. Whether it be through elevation dropping, Dragoon jumping, Aetherial Manipulation, or furniture stacking. Should we not share this greatness with everyone? From stargazing and sunbathing to rooftop parties on the flat roofs of The Goblet. There's a lot of fun to be had using this additional real estate.

But then I won't be special. Got the lot next to the steps, just have to jump over the rail and on the roof.

This would be really awesome. Forget balcony access. We can just drop down from the roof lol.

Mm, don't see the moonroof working other than as something to click on the roof to get in and out. It would be good for balconies and rooftop parties though.

I would like more roofs though. They just added a bunch of new exterior walls for us to play with, so yay to my dream of owning a virtual cafe.

And definitely yes to flying in city areas (i'd like all the maps of Eorzea, but I realize that's unrealistic).

Adding new roof designs, that allow furniture placement, would be fun.

I just wish I could place a bench or two and a few other items up there so I could make my roof into a comfortable patio. I can reach my roof (from the elevated area next to my plot) but it's just a bare open space I can't furnish. It feels like wasted potential.

And yes, I think they should allow flying mounts to fly in the residential areas.

That, oooor just allow flying mounts on the Residential areas, so we can go to any roof top we want.
