SMN Egi glamour

Has there been any word on the SMN's egi glamour system in any of the live letters?

Not yet to my knowledge, but it has been mentioned several times around here, so I hope it'll come.
I'm totally not inclined to play my SMN at the moment, that would give me some motivation.

I don't really know anymore...it is hard to keep up with info since they don't post it on the forums anymore...or have a page for the patch still.

After first announcing it, when it was brought up again their answer was more or less "Well, doing all the animations and modelling will take a lot of work, so we don't know when we'll get around to it." I'd say the best bet is to not sit around waiting for it since it's probably several major patches away, if it's even in the active workflow right now.

Kinda baffling they can have 150 minion, each with their own animations, but a classic final fantasy job such as summoner gets 3 egi's. Pathetic.

It really is. And they do not even feel like pets...they're just kinda...there.

wait.... seriously?! that's the latest news on egi glamour?

So we went from:

New Summons in a future patch >

New Summons in the xpac to make it fair to other classes >

No new summons in the xpac because there is only three primary roles for SMN pets they wanted to focus on, but we will get pet glamours >

SMN pet glamours? We are not working on them, but we will get around to it!

This is such disappointing news T_____T I was really looking forward to changing some of the egi to other skins.

Not quite.
The last thing we've heard about it, was the they were going to start working on them (at the time of the 23rd Live Letter), and asked us to be patient about it.

And we will be able to change the skins of our Egis once it's up.
It's just that they will conform to the Caster/Tank/Attacker-Types we already have.
