So you have THM and CON both at L50. Which would you use? I especially like those who actually have both CON and THM to L50 to post their thoughts and opinions.

I prefer CNJ because of Curaga/Curaga II, Raise II and Rebirth but THM has a better AoE for buffs(although not as potent unless it's Stygian Spikes), stronger nukes(Scourge and Banish) and the Regen from the Sacrifice spells lasts a bit longer.
THM has more of the Red Mage selection of spells and is angled in the debuffer way, CNJ is the healer/massive nuker of the game right now.
I would say go CNJ if you like high numbers, and THM if you like rotating the same spells over and over.
^agreed i only lvled up Thm for sacrifice and stygian spikes for more healing utility and nice mp buff
I was told when I first started as a CNJ back closer to release, STOP LEVELLING IT NOW AND BE A THM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT, so I levelled THM instead for SacIII and all the other nice bits, then they changed everything and now it's not so OP, but still, if you are going healer, you don't really have much choice than to level both classes, as SacIII + CureIII is necessary in endgame to keep up.
Also CNJ and THM combined have some nice non-spell abilities (like Soughspeak, Spiritbind and Blood Rite to name but a few) that when used together can keep your mana pumping, your spells destructive and the parties flowing nicely.
Of course you would rank both up for the spells, but when both are at 50, which would you remain as? Do you see any reason to play as THM as of now if you had both at 50?
If I may interject, I am also curious to see how the face lift on ancient magic has improved things. There was one post in the conjurer forum, and a very happy post in the Japanese forum, but I'd like to hear more.
we totally needed a cross post.
If this is a thread "o look thm is gimp", then no, it isn't gimped
also, in case you guys haven't noticed. Shadowsear is back in business! Ancient magic is lovely now too.
