hello. your system has an error in it. today it sent me a happy birthday thing in the email. however, today isn't my birthday. if i go to Edit Profile it is possible to see that my birthday is indeed entered correctly. and there's no mistaking the format, because each field is specifically labeled.
my birthday is May 10, which is month 5 and day 10. and today is October 5. which is month 10 and day 5. it seems something in the system is configured incorrectly.
Ah, let me guess, the date numbers are right, it's actually the order of the numbers that has been confused - this is because different countries have different orders in how dates are written. The USA writes dates as month, day, year, where as the UK and Australia (the later where I live) writes dates as day, month, year (And Japan writes it as Year, day, month). So it's likely you've gotten the order wrong for the site, which is using the US way of writing dates.
Put the first number as the month and the second number as the day, instead of the other way around, and it should work now (I just checked the date settings under my profile and it indeed lists the month first and then day and year, but also it clearly identifies them as such).
you can't choose a number for the month in the profile settings.
