Map not displaying correctly

I'll try again...! (Thanks to those who were helping me, v much appreciated)

Steps:
1. I had been playing the game as usual
2. I logged out, then tried to purchase the heavenward expansion pack on PS4 (as it transpires from talking to Sony, I purchased the game again, as the PS4 system didn't recognise I already owned it - they are trying to deal with this. Nothing downloaded, and the game was not re-installed/restarted etc.
3. I logged in again, to resume my game from the location above. When I pressed the square button on the PS4 controller, the main map itself did not appear, only the toggles/zoom etc, and they were partially off the screen.
4. I reset the HUD layout to default, this did not resolve the issue
5. I tried moving/resizing the map using the mouse, and was unable to
6. I tried restarting the game, and the PS4, which did not resolve the issue
7. I tried adjusting the display/video settings, which did not resolve the issue
