Not so much a discussion thread, really more of a request to the Lore team?
Having drawn Shiva one too many times in trial roulette, I realised that about half the ruins left by Avalonia seem to be amphitheatres of a sort - what were these used for? Was there a rich tradition of the performing arts? Did Elezen actresses tread the boards next to Dragon actors? Where there all-Wyvern idol bands? Do any of their plays and songs survive in some fashion?
There is not much to tell about that. That amphitheatre is the only remains left on cortheas of the civlisation whem mankind and drgon where at peace. On 2.4 we didnt know what it was, maybe a sanctuary of shiva. But on heavensward, iceheart well explains what were all those ruins.
I'll wager a guess and say its purpose is more akin to the Colosseum than the Globe.
It could be that having an open area that people could congregate in would be suitable for dragons and man to meet in. Man could walk in, and dragons could fly down and they could actually have conversations.
