Question about Monk DPS

So I've just started a levelling my Pugilist up and was wondering what happens to MNK dps on bosses who have no back to attack e.g Leviathan or Cloud of Darkness.

Does DPS crash and burn? In which case I think i'll just go back to healing lol...

Attacking enemies with no facing is treated as attacking from all directions.

So you will always get the bonus potency for positionals

Leviathan has two sides to attack. The head has front/flank, the tail has flank/rear. Cloud of Darkness (if I remember correctly) has no facing and treats all attacks as hitting proper positionals. This was a fix they implemented early on to fix issues Melee dps had with fights like Demon Wall in Amdapor Keep. I don't believe the game currently has any fights where positionals are simply impossible to get.
