Minigame Idea! [Chocobo Jousting]

So I was talking with my free company and I came up with an idea for a golden saucer, or actually have content for the Lightfeather Proving Grounds!

Imagine a minigame for chocobo jousting, it wouldn't even have to be all that difficult to code either using a Rail Mechanic

Lets brainstorm on how the game could work! Way I would see it is this;

You would be able to choose from offensive, defensive, or balanced riding stances. Then you would have a zone to aim for, head, chest, arm. You would then simply have it so that if one rider is in a certain stance it would increase the effectiveness of aiming at a certain zone, while dropping it for others, but then follow traditional joust scoring which goes as follows;

Breaking a Lance to the head +3 points
Breaking a Lance to the chest +2 points
Breaking a Lance to the arm +1 point

** Continue **

And dismounting your opponent is an instant victory!

With mixing stances and aims your balanced stance could allow you an equal chance to hitting a target in any of the zones but make you slightly more vulnerable depending on what you are aiming at. Aiming at the head making your chest more vulnerable, arm would be head, and so fourth.

Setting to offensive may allow you to hit a head easier though, but drops your defense in two zones while leaving one untouched, but locking to an aim could effect that zone further or drop your other zones even more! In this way you could create a rock paper scissors like game based on multiple factors to make a complex yet simple system. What do you guys think, and do you have any further idea's that might make such a system better?

Maybe make the "Trump" Mechanic a Rock-Paper-Scissors system to simplify things.

Like pick Lance High Beats Shield Low and even make "Double Knock Outs" possible.

The possibilities are as varied as they would be simple.

That does make things simpler! The key to a fun minigame is quick and simple with immediate reward!

I just want to say that this... is the coolest idea ever! :D Maybe also not restrict it to riding chocobos but any mount you currently possess (making sure that the choice of mount is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the outcome in any way - although I admit that it would be... interesting to see people jousting with Fat Chocobo and the manacutter!). As my Enki is a knight this would just suit her perfectly for rp reasons alone - and of course it's another minigame for Gold Saucer to have fun with. :D

Please Yoshi! Please add this to the game! I beg you! :D

Could easily be Either or Both. And you know cool glamours would be a given in the Gold Saucer or especially if a new area was utilized.

(I wonder where Blitzball would be held if they really did implement it.)

This is a great idea! Would be entertaining at the very least.
