Bloodbath and Beyond -- Looking for DRK for A4S

Hello all!

My name is Genose, and I am the co-leader of a free company on the Cactuar server called Bloodbath and Beyond. We have been around for almost 2 years now, and have been very successful. Bloodbath and Beyond has a few raiding groups, and you would be joining my group -- The Salty Spitoon.

We are a very relaxed raid group that loves inside jokes and making each other laugh, however we know there are times when we need to be serious for progression sake. There are times when you have to buckle down to get stuff done. Our players have a history of raiding from a wide array of games. The group that is running right now has been together since FFXIV came out in September 2013, although it has evolved greatly from it's inception. Our current lineup has been together since Heavensward, and we plan on sticking together for a while. If you want a safe, reliable, and entertaining place to call home, our group would be it.

Outside of raids, our group has fun throughout the week. Whether it's quantum physics talks at 3 AM with our black mage who smokes too much ganja, or doing content selling with our ninja, there's always something to do inside and outside the game.

You may ask yourself, well, if you guys are so reliable, why do you have a tank position available? The answer is that our main tank wants to focus on his schooling, along with not wanting to wait for more content that will allow us to raid more. Our current main tank is a great guy, and has been with us since June 2014, but sometimes it's in their best interest to drop the game to focus on real life.


Our raiding schedule as of recent has been primarily focused with weekend raiding. Due to my work schedule, we have been having long days on Saturday and Sunday, while sometimes raiding on Friday night to get a little more time in. Here's an example:

Friday: 11:30 PM CDT to 12:30 AM CDT

Saturday: 4 PM CDT to 11:30 PM CDT (usually a dinner break in between)

Sunday: 4 PM CDT to 11:30 PM CDT (usually a dinner break in between)


Our group will eventually switch back to a schedule that would be 4-5 days a week, primarily raiding from 8 PM CDT to 1130 PM CDT (no ETA on when this will happen, as my work schedule has been inconsistent). We are currently working on A4S, as we just got down A3S last week (2 weeks of kills so far). Along with that, we are looking for a PC-only player (pc master race/mouse+keyboard for the win), along with someone who utilizes our voice chat: Teamspeak. I tell everyone who joins our FC (inside and outside of the raiding teams) that if you're not in Teamspeak, you miss about 90% of the conversations/dialogue... so be social!
