Angry Bards

THIS IS NOT A DEBATE THREAD. PLEASE POST ONLY IF YOU ARE AN ANGRY BARD.

Thats right we are angry !!! If changes to the bard job don't happen soon, I will be leaving this game.

I've been a loyal subscriber to ffxiv for almost 2 years, a game I loved and played 10 plus hours a day, everyday. I have levelled every job, every crafter & gatherer. It took me months of testing and trying all the jobs to finally land on bard. I never wanted to be a caster period. I have spent hundreds of hours grinding for my zeta, finishing final coils, countless hours learning. Even after "the new 3.0" caster bard was implemented I still did try to enjoy it. I've cleared savage up to a3 and currently item level 201. Sadly, the fun and the soul reason I chose bard, has all been taken away. I am PISSED & I know many bards are!!! I feel I'm being forced to level a brand new class or forced to play a class I'm unhappy with. We need to band together and make our voices heard! Something has to change ...

Sadly most raider friends I know that were particularly invested in BRD specifically just quietly left. Finding a competent BRD to raid with since has been... Best of luck getting BRD fixed.

Yes we do !!! It's bullshit and we need to not let this go

We must load these Angry Bards into a slingshot and launch them at pigs.

And the only official response is "Ok, we'll make WM 30%".

The more feedback SE gets, the better, IMO. On more issues than just this.

Beauty of this game is it is very easy to pick up a class and change mains...do people really only level one specific job and that's it?

I have voiced my opinion already and will not here as i am not an at all an angry Bard.

My mains are WHM, AST... and maybe PLD as a kinda distant tertiary. I've mained SCH in the past, wouldn't mind maining it again just a lot on my plate right now. Considering trying out WAR. Tried out MCH, seemed kinda meh. Tried out BRD and it's a lot of fun and I'd like to have that to round out my mains with a DPS... but I don't like casters and I don't like melee, which is all this game has now.

Some people do stick to just one, though, or favor one above all others. And, yes, drastic changes can leave to those types dropping off from the game. For me that's WHM. If they made it play like, say, Dancer, I'm not sure I'd stick around.
