Windows 10 Update Bug

Thread Title: A Bug that came about after I updated to windows 10


ISP: Eastlink (Canada)


Type of Internet Connection: DSL


Internet Connection Speed: 40mb/sec


Date & Time: I'm unsure exactly when this first started, except that it was right after I updated to Windows 10

Frequency: Always

Character Name: L'Koana Reyan (and all others)


Race: Miqo'te (and all others)

World: Balmung, Gilgamesh, Faerie (not specific to world)


Class/Level: 40

Area and Coordinates: N/A

Party or Solo:N/A

Steps: After I updated windows 10 it reset all of the final fantasy 14 files to read only, and because of that I was not able to create ne characters, or save anything in my actions bars, outfit settings ect. The only work around I have found is to run the game as an administrator as it won't let me choose a different setting from read only when I locate the file and try to reset it manually.
