Keep the Music!
Many players including myself have voiced their opinions that we would like to keep the event music that is currently in place in the cities after October 17th. We feel that it really adds that Final Fantasy feel to the game.
Devs, please pass this message along to the team and ask if we can keep the current music for the cities.

I would appreciate a source to those 'many players'. I for one wish for the old tracks to come back; the Grand Company themes are what they are; grand company themes. I love them; they fit perfectly for what they are, a brief overlay to each GC's nature and pride. But they do not fit the everyday mood of each city and their true nature, being either too glorious and rhythmic (Gridania), overly simple and one-sided (Ul'dah), or not boisterous and grand enough (Limsa Lominsa). I know many a LS friend who has gotten sick of the current GC music, especially in Ul'dah. They just don't fit right in their respective city-states.
Devs, please gain most of this forums opinions' instead of one post before recommending a change that may or may not be welcome. I prefer the old tracks to return once this event is over.

in my opinion, i dont want them to keep the company music in the whole city areas, we have perfectly fine city tracks.
what i wish they would keep from the event thou are the nice looking flags at the top of the buildings, specially in limsa they add alot of flair.

No imo, As much as I like the new music Id rather see more general tracks added over time and keep the Event Music for like you know the Event...

I think there should be sectional tracks, say if we had a grand company that wasn't just an instance when you ran past it you got its track, or stood within selection of the crystal and it played ff's classic theme [=

I want Gridania's city music back already.

Keep The Immortal Flames GC track in Ul'dah and let the other cities have their original songs back.

I like the GC tracks, but not nearly enough to have them replace the city music.
