Scholar Rotation Single Target
Ok so currently the DPS Rotation for my SCH is:
Bio II > Miasma > Bio > Energy Drain > Aero > Energy Drain > Swiftcast > Shadow Flare > Energy Drain > Aetherflow >Broil Spam > Bio > Energy Drain > Aero > Energy Drain > Miasma > Bio II > Broils.
Bio II may be our "Strongest" DoT in terms of Duration, but its potency is less than Bio, per tick. With this opening a Scholar can go up to almost 6 seconds without landing any damage. o-o
I took each DoT we have and ranked them per second what they are worth (Total potency/Duration)
Bio: 13.3
Miasma: 12.5
Bio II: 11.6
Aero: 11.1
Shadow Flare: 8.3
Based on those rankings, wouldn't this rotation create more dps?
Bio > Energy Drain > Miasma > Bio II > Aero > Energy Drain > Swiftcast > Shadow Flare > Energy Drain > Aetherflow > A few Broils> Bio > Energy Drain > A few Broils > Aero > Energy Drain > Miasma > Bio II > Bio > Energy Drain
The first Rotation's order of debuffs would be much better suited Bane-ing multi-targets, while still single targeting one core boss. The dps potency of this change is probably miniscule, but just trying to create something optimum.
