Comprehensive Bestiary
Hello!
I would really love to see the implementation of a bestiary like that of Final Fantasy XII, with descriptions of each enemy in the game, including dungeon bosses, FATE bosses, hunts, etc. While a 3D model of each enemy would be cool, I think it would be more practical to have just a picture with lore/location/basic information about said enemy. Personally, I'm a person that greatly enjoys collecting things, so this would be an incentive for players like me to seek out and kill at least one of each enemy in the game. Achievements and special rewards could be included as well, with a dedicated tab in the achievement guide.
After a particularly difficult hunt or dungeon, I think it would be interesting to go back and read about the enemies you just encountered.

I support this whole heartedly. And while it's a stretch, I'd love to see it in a very XII manner, unlocking more info the more we kill.

I would really enjoy this type of system in the game. It would be nice to know the history and stats behind the different monsters you defeat in the game.

I would love this. I was going to recommend this but found this post already made. I would like a bestiary that shows monster stats and tells what type of damage they deal(physical/magical, etc). I would also like to see a log for bosses and dungeons i have completed or killed. That way if i ever take a break or simply don't remember a certain thing i can check the log rather than looking things up on the internet. And I would also like to see some of this information on the target indicator as well.. hp numbers and percentages, weaknesses, immunity...I think it would be incredibly useful.

I'd like this, but only if we had to work to fill it ourselves. Like getting bits of info every time X amount of monster Y has been killed.

The problem is, as cool as it would be, the sheer volume of enemies in the game would make this too difficult and time consuming to implement so late after launch, especially if it's more for lore reasons (based on your mention of the FFXII bestiary). Having said that, there already is a basic bestiary provided by SE - albeit not in the game itself, but hosted instead on the Lodestone (found here), which I think will have to suffice.

The problem with this is that it does not give much information. I want a book that shows me how i can best fell a foe. With so many bosses and mechanics in this game, its going to get harder to remember them all. Thank you for this post though. I wasn't even aware of that list.
