return from the past

hi all

i just got the ps4 version , i played it on pc first year at launch
i got a lvl 50 whitemage i loggede in and loggede out :-) there is no way in hell i ever gonna learn to play that one again with all those spells. so i thing maybe i should make a new one, but is it possible to send gill and stuff to an alt?

if so i deside to stay on this one and just make a new job, is there any place i can go on the web to see where i can lvl and so on.

hope you kind people can get me back on track am pretty much lost at the moment.
oh yes and can you recommend a job to be. i like it all beside tanking

There's really no need to start over.

Take a deep breath, go out into the world, and look for one of the FATEs in a low level area. Practice a bit in that, get a feel for the game again, and you'll be good to go in no time.

There is no easy way of transferring your gil or items; you will need to use either the shared chest in a Free Company, or another player whom you trust not to just take your things and run.

Just queue for low level -> high level dungeons. Begin with Sastasha, then Deepcroft, Copperbell, etc... Each "new" dungeon you will be getting more and more skills.

Man, as white mage there isn't much to learn you know? You basically heal... and the easiest healer to do since scholar and astrologian are more complex. You dont have rotations to do as DD etc. You will get in shape super fast really.
Also read the description of what does each spell and test them.

You can also do what Metabug said but to be honest just jump in the Castrum or Preatorium since you get access to all lvl 50 spells and try. They are super easy now, good to you test stuff.

And yes, no need to make a new character just because you forgot how to play or are you going to tell me you would buy new bicycle because you forgot how to ride the one you have?
