Group Quests

I dont know if I am the only one who feels this way. BUT, though there is group dungeons and such in duty finder I have not noticed any actual group quests that relate to world activity it groups us with players from all servers if I remember correctly when doing primals etc etc but I wouldnt mind seeing some standard regional quests that require a party to work together and create better player interaction. Alot of things are done solo I just feel like there could be something new added that required a partner or something of the sort to do I know of course you can do alot of quests with the help of someone though some quests like main storyline quests require you to do it alone.

Anyone else feel something like this could be added or maybe has some input as to ones that exist and I am just unaware of them?

Which is the worse situation, though? Not having group quests in the world, or getting stuck on a main story quest because you're behind the curve and there are no more people doing that particular quest?

I would agree to something like this if and only if... they weren't implicitly required for Main progression. Dungeons do that enough already, some did it notoriously so when they came out (Steps of Faith).

Well, there are kind of group quests ingame .. called dungeon/trial quests. You can't do them alone but you could easily do them via friends, PF or DF = group.

If you take the time to read the quest, Leve's can simulate this. A buddy and I have spent quite a bit of time doing leve's because it mixes it up, and since we're in no rush to max out classes or craft it works out.

I'd like max level Leves, difficulty and reward scaling with how many in the party have the levequest to link. Or just a difficulty slider like levelling leves, instead of setting 0 to +4 setting it to solo, small party, full party, alliance.

Group quests sound interesting but it would have to be something different than just killing mobs with more HP..
I don't really have an idea what could be objectives of these quests.

Something like treasure maps?

How about escourting a Chocobo caravan and kill every dangerous beast on the way.
To make it different from simple kill quests you also need to feed the Chocobos to heal them, and comfort them if they are in panic ^^
