Constant Disconnects for Many People - can we please get some info?

There's already several topics here, but it's a growing issue: people getting random disconnects every couple minutes, on a variety of systems with a variety of computer setups and ISPs, and we've yet to hear anything.

Something like this would've almost assuredly been fixed (or at least acknowledged) in other MMOs by this point, almost five days after the patch. I've seen it happen on both bigger and smaller MMOs, and this silence is deafening by comparison. I've been spared, but it's happening to guildmates and friends both while trying to run dungeons, quest and level, to the point where it could be as few as a couple minutes between random disconnects, yet all their other games, as well as their internet itself, remains intact.

Can we at least get some official word on things, some hint it's being worked on, workarounds, timetables? Even, "Sorry, it's not a big enough priority, you're out of luck" would be nice, because then at least we'd know where we stand.

I really like it in conjunction with the mechanics of disconnecting during Behest. Specifically, you automatically are removed from it, and left to walk back through all the aggressive mobs, by yourself, because the warden can't seem to remember that you were part of the mission, too.

I think its back to the to much work on the servers we had last year.
The player base dropped massively and the issues appeared to go away, As the player base grows again (which is defiantly a great thing) SE will have to address this again.

I wasn't having any issues prior to now - just hearing about everyone else's issues - but all of a sudden I got slammed by fast, continual disconnects. Server gives me 3102s (I think) as it thinks I'm still logged in. Then I get past that, logged in and loaded, and BAM! I'm disconnected again. And for all the time I'm trying to reconnect, I'm actually not able to connect to the Lodestone either. So it seems to be something going to the entire centre.

Just like Kyitrai before me mentioned, I also just got d/c'ed repeatedly for the past few hours. I have also noticed more people running around, most of them low level. It seems the game just isn't built to handle more that so-many people at the same time. Not good. Not good at all.
I really hope SE reads some of these posts, and realizes that if they want to have any hope of salvaging this game they cannot afford to have basic server issues drive away the people who become willing to give this game another try.
Time to find that higher gear SE.

I suggest that as many people as possible experiencing this problem post here or in a similar thread. If nothing else then just to give SE a sense of how bad this problem is and how much they have to haul a$$.

I agree entirely, we need to make this known. I'm not even entirely sure if it's a server load issue or a programming issues, because the problem seems very random, and I might go for hours just fine, while a guildmate, in the same time frame, gets repeatedly disconnected.

I'd really, really like to hear from SE on this. As you said, they really need to switch to high gear - I have trouble imagining something like this going unanswered or even unacknowledged for almost a week after the patch in any other major MMO.

Still no response.

Then again, reviewing most of the posts here, maybe they should rename this forum "Community Self-Support", since official responses here seems to be limited to locking/moving threads.

I am having the same problems, its getting to the point where the game is unplayable!! I have tried playing other mmo`s and they are running perfectly so i dont think its a problem my end. Its even got to a point now that if it doesnt dissconnect me it just doesnt show any of my actions. Failed so many quests now due to it r0 ing and then coming back and me being dead on the floor!!!
