Vote for the next FFXIV Fan Festival location!!!

Australia is not listed.. _-_

I know, that disappointed me as well, but I guess it's only to be expected. Still, I haven't given up hope that one day we will see an Australian FFXIV Fanfest (possibly held in Sydney?). :)

Incidentally I am thankful that the Distant Worlds ~ A New World FF concert is coming to Australia, and my home city too (Perth), but that's another barrel of moogles...

I don't see any vote for the next fan festival location on the front page.

I'm not sure if it's region specific though (in other words, it only shows up depending on where you're accessing the site from).

Sadly the only choices offered are the UK, France and Germany - no other EU/Rest of the world countries are listed, nor is there any space to put a personal choice. So it does seem a little biased sadly.

Ah well....

The Aleutian Islands are not listed :>3...

I can see why Australia is not listed, since its for Europe only :p

I guess the biggest fanbase is from UK, France and Germany, so they probably assumed it will be one of those 3 winning, that why they dont list more countries.

It isn't just this though, anytime they have EU events or contests Australia is usually outed. Nevermind that we have to pay in in their currency and not our own. _-_

Oh its on the EU site not the US one. Anyway they always pick cities not close to where I live so I can never go to a fanfest in the US.

If Australia is in Europe I'm going to have some pretty strong words to say to my old geography teacher...

me think is more language related,

UK = English (universal language)
Germany = German (biggest euro fan players, and covers as well most of the germanic issued countries in Europe)
France = French (because there are lots of french speaking people and of course they are only in France..as we all know right?)

anything that is not able to speak one of those 2 last listed languages is automatically going into UK....so nothing to do with countries just with language segregation (In my opinion of course)

I would have liked to see this done where they have the Polymanga show happen on yearly basis........unfortunately.....I even Wonder if they know it exists + they would solve their language problem in a single place....what about this ? ...and easy access from everybody since right in the middle of Europe, almost equal distance from everything kind of type of.
