Crashing when using DX11 in pre-expansion major cities.

I've posted about this twice now, and they have been moved to "resolved issues". THIS ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED. It is STILL happening.

My hardware specs are posted in the original post, the only difference now is I've upgraded to Windows 10 but am still experiencing the same crash. As one can clearly see my hardware is WELL beyond the capability of playing this game on max settings without any sort of performance hit. I'd like to see an official response, instead of constantly just dusting the problem under the rug.

The issue is that the game is crashing specifically in Gridanea and Limsa Lominsa, you only have to be in the town for a few minutes before it happens. This only happens when I am on DirectX 11, and I have absolutely no other crashes or quality issues whatsoever with the entire game. I should NOT have to play on DX9 just because of some bug that is getting completely ignored by the devs.

I can play the game on my GeForce GTX 960 under DirectX 11 w/ max settings just fine.

Something to check is if this is heat related. The symptoms you described in your previous threads sounds like it might be heat related (lower settings = less heat generated). Try using a tool like GPU-Z and see what temperature the GPU reaches when the client crashes.

If it is above 80 degrees Celsius, then it is getting quite hot. Above 90 is where CPUs and GPUs become unstable.

Temperatures are always 65ish.

Can you post your crash log then? That should shed some details on what is occurring. You can find crash logs until Event Viewer in Control Panel.
