Suggestion: Swimming

As the title says, can we please have an option to swim in deep waters/lakes/streams? Please?

Yes, I want to be able to drown- I mean swim.

What would we even do? Combat stuff? I find under water combat to be one of the worse things.

My hope is that they make swimming a "side" type feature and not the basis for an expansion like flying was for Heavensward. They could make some nice highly rare side quest and items gathering by using this feature and you would really have to explore to find these spots to go.
1. You could swim down to find a secret underwater dungeon.
2. Swim down to find places to mine/gather mats.
3. Swim down to find Rare NM or HNM to fight and get loot/gear.
4. Swim to find other things...possibilities are almost endless.

Well, there was an interview some time ago saying that they were deciding on whether to have a sky or sea themed expac first, and decided on sky. So with the next expac... I think if we see this, we'll see it there.

Yup if they do make another xpac sea themed it could be very cool.

Really loved wows underwater zones and just plain old swimming in other mmos.

It has great potential...lets see what they come up with.............

If we get swimming, then I demand water wings for my lalafell!

I would love to be able to swim. I see the ocean at Costa del sol, and always wished I could swim.

That would be awsome, imagine that
would be great to have a merman or a mermaid tail.. while swimming only, diving maybe ? LOL
