Could someone explain the new bard rotation?

There are so many threads about how much they hate bard and that they complain about their class (not that it isn't warranted) but since Yoship has not given any interest in changing the class, can someone explain to me what the new rotation is?

It's less a rotation thing people complain about, it's more that Wanderer's Minuet buff which works like that:

Basically from level 52 onward Bards lose their mobility and become something like physical damage casters if you will. Up to that point mobility was one of the key features of that class, now it's basically gone. The other new actions Bards get either require Wanderer's Minuet or the classes two DoTs - or both - to be active to deal full damage, but aside from that everything is the same as before. Which also means that, while Bards have a nice chunk of support, their DPS is currently a bit lacking despite the mobility sacrifice and added complexity, and that made lots of people kinda angry.

Many would love to see Wanderer's Minuet gone I believe, but at the same time that's not very likely to happen since it would mean admitting faulty class design. Anyway, SE fixes their problems either fast or never, which means that if there aren't any large changes coming with 3.1 it'll probably stay like that until the next expansion adds even more stuff.

Bard doesn't have a "set" rotation, and they still more or less follow the same skill prioirty as before, only you have two extra skills to use on cooldown, and one skill that combines two existing ones functionally. What you do need to get used to is the cast times and clipping into your oGCD/GCDs because you're gonna have those moments where you need to double-weave two oGCDs into one with cast times.

Strange that nobody still have done this.

For the most part, that's mostly what u gonna find on the official forums concerning Heavensward Bard....vocal haters. All the other dps jobs have a thread dedicated to them (if there is one on Bard, must be buried under all the hate threads cause I've never seen it either), concerning how to go about doing dmg with said job...except Bard.
