How`s the server
Thinking about moving to the server considering that I'm from EU but my regular play time is between 9 am to 5 or 6 pm and normally that's this server prime time.
So I'm wondering who is the server situation when it comes to being a friendly place, the economy and the raids (not the Heavenward ones) but the ones from a realm reborn like the extreme primals and coils( according to what I have seen in this server forum there are still people and linkshells dedicated to them).

Economy prices are lower then eu players are mixed like all servers have mostly nice friendly players but you do get your bad eggs , old content still can be cleared in df tho players will jump in pf if your willing to chill out and wait a lil
Worth the transfer of our prime time suites yourself in my opinion
Hopefully see you around

It's a good server, but it's the Japanese datacenter. What will your ping look like I wonder.
I tried to play Diablo 3 on an EU server from Japan, but gave up after only a few minutes.

There`s not much difference between UK TO US and from UK to Japan.
I might give it a try by creating a character in the server when it opens up.

It never opens servers hard to create a charecter , beat time just before or after maintence

Tonberry is a mixed server but there are some J players. In the whole datacenter, Tonberry (I think) is the only server that isn't mostly Japanese. That being said, here are some things that you should know:
-When in DF, you will most likely get partied with J players. They prefer people not talking in party chat during the instance, especially in English cos a majority of them can't speak/understand it. But unlike in NA servers, instances get done fast and you won't encounter arguments. The polite way to do when playing with J players in DF is to say "Let's do it" at the start of the instance and "Good game" at the end using Autotranslate.
-There are times (rarely) when you get kicked in DF for being a non J player. Reasons range from not being able to communicate to other reasons and they won't tell you this. It happens, but rarely. Personally it happened to me 2x in the last year. It sucks but do not let it get to you.
-When in PF and you see a "JP only" LFP, do not join it. It's rude and you will most likely get blacklisted.
-
I'm not saying J players are mean but they are accustomed to something different. Most of them are friendly though. When playing with E players, do whatever you want. There's no language barrier.

It helps to enable Japanese under languages spoken in your DF, even if you don't speak it. As everyone else mentioned, there isn't that much communication in dungeons. You will find duties significantly faster and most japanese players know what they're doing.
