I think it's self-explanatory but if not:
/die you just do the death animation and then just lay on the ground. Obviously you aren't really dead and could possibly die for real if in a dangerous area.

I have actually wished from time to time for a /suicide command or something. Just an "autokills you" thing. I can't for the life of me recall WHY I wanted it
Reminds me back in the day when people would switch to a level 1 job in FFXI, run out into a populated area like jeuno and than pop a poison potion and die, than have everyone stare at you.
we can't lay on the floor for prolonged periods of time outside of /doze in private housing anymore
Can you imagine the possible troll in PvP just seeing an enemy laying down?
/stuck in SWTOR autokilled your character. If a progression team made too many mistakes people could /stuck to wipe it up quickly. It was a nice tool. If we could get /stuck and have our cooldowns reset upon wipes progression would be a lot nicer on FF14. As it stands now progressing is a bit...clunky feeling. Instances have timers yet they don't let you utilize that time very wisely.
I'd only suggest turning off /stuck in PvP. Because people can /stuck before someone kills them and cheat them of those points.

if i recall this has been turned down by devs because players may do something inappropriate with the /laydown /fakedeath, or /playdead and that was there reason the last few times this idea has been brought up :c
