The Whitewashing Glitch

I have never been encountered by a glitch so powerful that A) I couldn't find it anyway, and B) I had to post to a forum. Huh.

ANYWAY!

The basics of this glitch are that my character has turned white, while previously he was tan. I'll list every detail I can below to help
1. Only I see this whitewashing. Everyone else see me as my previous tan self. My lodestone as well shows my tan self. However, the Character Selection screen shows me as white.
2. Occasionally, I will turn back to tan when entering a new area/teleporting. This most often happens in my FC house, and I am normally tan inside there.
3. The same day this started happening, I had used a fantasia potion to make myself tan.
4. Every other detail I changed stayed the same, excluding the skin color of course.
5. It seems to have began after I teleported back to a Levequest giver to turn in my leves.
6. I've tried relogging, restarting, entering a new area, running two dungeouns, repeating a levequest teleport. Nothing has worked- it has been 2 days since this started.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Our issues seem a little different, the entire game looked whitewashed to me. I tried screencapping it, but it doesn't show up as it's being displayed, which is frustrating. In anycase I wish you luck, I'm not sure it's the same issue, since you only stated it being the character model.

Try borderless window mode, it fixed it for me, I was using fullscreen. I have no idea what's causing the issue, but I've got so many right now I'm happy with the bandaid fix for atleast this.
