Chocobo suits for those of us with tails...

I don't post on the forums as often as I probably should, but I made a post last April here about this topic. The post was most likely under the wrong forum area so it really didn't get any attention.

My Chocobo Suit is definitely one of my favorite outfits, and I wear it all the time, but I can speak from experience that our Miqo'te tails in our Chocobo suits can really be uhm...embarrassing... at times as seen by these screenshots:

Standing:

Is there any possible way in a future patch to maybe have a /command to tuck our tails inside our Chocobo suits, or just automatically tuck our tails inside when we wear it?

A tail-tuck option that hides your tail, similar to the hat-hiding and mainhand-hiding options we already have that are saved with the stored gear-set, would be nice. There's no reason a Miqo'te or Auri character couldn't keep their tail under their skirt or kilt.

That said, it might involve altering a lot of character animations. So i have no idea how much effort on SE's part this would take.

Nah, they remove tails for DRG esoteric body so it's obviously just a toggle of some kind.

Hmm. Too lazy to dig for the post but I think the CMs already said no...

Aww, that stinks...if they said no. I'll have to dig, too, and see if I could find the post. Made my first one more than a year ago, but can't recall seeing a reply.

They said that they will consider removing tails on sets where the design would make it look awkward or conflict with the armor in the future, but they aren't going to go back and re-do the existing gear. I'll look for the link when I get off work.

As evidenced by the DRG Esoteric set, they seem to be keeping to their word at least, so it's promising for the future.
