How? I just got my first 60 craft yesterday. A guide said to go to MorDhona, I did the specialist quest but there is no quest for the 'go westward, crafter' or whatever? What are the requirements?

you may or may not have to do all of the other quests from that NPC including the unlocking of specialist souls. Have you unlocked collectable synthesis/glove yet?
EDIT: I just re-read your post. You only go to Mor Dhona after you visit Foundation for the quest that sends you there to unlock scrips, specialist actions, and aetherial reduction. You might want to check Foundation first (near the temple levemete)
