Returning Player Looking for Fresh Start

Hello, Mateus!

I'm a recently returned player who is looking to start fresh on a lower population server. I am a former player on the Balmung Legacy server, and honestly, there are just too many people. Constant chat flood, occasional bursts of lag in populated areas, and little room for someone to start fresh. I've spent a couple weeks looking around for a new home without changing servers, but I haven't found a good fit.

What I'm looking for:

• Small, tight-knit community
• Preferably casual and respectful of varying play styles
• Willing to help someone re-learn the game, essentially from scratch

I have quite a bit of MMO experience, but my current life doesn't allow me to commit to any regular game times. I'll be morning one day, evening the next, then afternoon the third. I'm generally self-sufficient, spending most of my time working on crafting, etc. but I enjoy having a good bunch to socialize with while we enjoy the game in our own way.

Additionally (ran out of characters):

I've played BRD, PLD, WHM, SCH, SMN through 50 (that was cap at the time), but I left back when i90 was the cap and so my gear and experience is severely limited for current endgame. Absolutely excited to learn the new content, but I will be leveling all of my crafters to 60 prior to engaging in much PVE.

I urge you guys to check out Lost Horizons! We're a medium-ish FC on the server with everything from players still leveling to those tackling savage. We're always willing to help out if you ask and we really do just enjoy running content with one another. You are welcome to join <Epoch> I am am one of the most experienced leaders/Raiders on Mateus restarting a new FC after returning to the server myself. My goal is to build a small tight knit community that clears and farms all content up to and including hardcore raiding.

My FC is small but I can assist you with relearning jobs and rotations on a Raid Skill level. If you don't mind the work to build something solid then I can assure you my FC is the place for you now and will continue to be so in the future.

Well I'll throw my hat in the ring under a different perspective.

My name is John; there's a topic in this forum below with info on the FC I lead. Basically, complacent leaders let it fizzle and I am, quite literally, the only one who didn't give up on it. As leadership has fallen to me, I'm taking on the task of completely restructuring and rebuilding the guild.

With only a few members, we're looking for folks who are looking for what they could offer an FC, instead of just what an FC could give them. We're level 8, have a Free Company mansion with all crafting facilities and a nearly complete airship; all that jazz. But what we need is leadership and experienced players, like yourself, to get the ball rolling.
