Serious gathering bug.. stuck ppl without popping gathering window

Steps:
1.switch from Botanist to Miner
2.use Prospect
3.use Stealth
4.click on Lv25 Rocky Outcrop
I had done the steps as soon as possible, then I couldn't see the gathering window pop up and my character stuck.
This is my second time stuck while gathering.
last time I might open another window while I click on the mine, then I stuck.
This is very bad bug.. because I can't log out or return or teleport to terminating gathering to release myself.. I can only wait GM to Jail me and release me..
if you couldn't solve the bug, at lease allow ppl using Return.
