Point to finish my relic weapon?

So back in the day i got my wep to nexus but i ended up helping others out and putting my zeta off so i guess i'm asking is there a point now? i have my i200 wep. And will i really need the zeta to do anymore relic quest for 3.1 or so? thank you:D

SE has said that players that have finished the relic from 2.0 will be given consideration when the 3.0 relic drops.
However the next step you will be going on is better known as Atma 2.0 The Revenge

I just started this step myself, and dungeon by dungeon I loathe the person that ever decided that RNG should be the basis for everything in a game.

The only reason to get your Zodiac Zeta at this point is because you like how it looks. You won't need it for the 3.1 relic and the "consideration" Zeta holders will get will probably be so insignificant as to not really matter. So if you want to bother with it go right ahead, but you won't really be missing out on anything if you don't.

the 3 new jobs don't even have a zodiac zeta, so they can't get any bonus. that means any other kind of bonus other than you can skip the first step and be a bit faster would be really unfair. i don't think square would do this...

only reason to finish your zeta is for glamour, to get the title or probably to have a bonus of i don't know after the patch to get the weapon probably faster.

As many others have said before, it could work based off the achievement or trade in any Job's Zeta for another Job's unfinished 3.1 relic. In a recent-ish interview Yoshida did say the consideration may be the ability to skip the first part of the new relic quest, but they were still discussing it internally. Honestly with the lack of information we've received about the new relics, and all we've so far is just artwork so they probably won't be ready until 3.15.

You really don't know that. How about we wait and see before making blanket statements about something you really don't have inside information about. Personally I wouldn't finish my relic now if it's not done until there is something definitive about the process. Hopefully some news is forthcoming in the not too distant future before the update is released.

A little bonus at getting a Zeta is that you can buy a replica of any stage of the weapon at the blacksmith (same npc as iron upgrade) and it cost less that 100 gils.

Could you (or someone) link the artwork of the weps? I've heard of this artwork but haven't seen it around and even tried searching for it D:
