Does anyone actually do this fight anymore? It seems like everytime I try to get a party going no one seems to want to try. If I do manage to get a party then people always leave after 1 or 2 wipes. I really want to get this fight done as soon as possible. Are there any linkshells or parties that are currently willing to do this fight?
It's something you'd have to search around on your server for, unfortunately. I cleared Extreme back closer to the start of HW in PF, so it's definitely possible, but it requires a lot of searching around. They bungled the reward structure badly by making it so that, save for the single run you need to get through to Ravana Extreme (and maybe some so-so glamours), there's no reason to run it a second time.
If you have a FC, see if you can grab a few people from there who're relatively well-geared and who don't mind helping people through. It's a very simple fight mechanically, with the majority of my wipes coming simply from low DPS, so try to get people who are relatively geared already. Macros help a ton. I made three for the weather mechanics (one for each color), which eventually helped to hammer in what to do for Phase 3 once I finally found a group with solid enough DPS to clear it. It took me about 9 different PF groups to finally get through it, so it can definitely be a struggle. I feel ya.
having the same problem pf only cares about finding ppl for savage these days.
They should just add them into DF the gear is pretty much outdated by the esoterik stuff anyway.
Personally, I sit around doing nothing, and have no issue with helping people clear BisEX. That said, I rarely join BisEX clear/learning/farm parties in the PF.
If you want people like me to join your team, maybe add "please help, no one does this anymore" to your PF, or shout for help in Idyllshire.
I randomly join clear partys just for the fun. If I notice the team wont see tomorrow I'll stick around till I get asked for something else or am just to annoyed.
Had a team I even wiped 2 full timers along with them :O
Finally yesterday got my 10th Bis ex to get me axy but I'll keep up to randomly help people on PF... it's just me.
after i cleared it i actually have never joined it anymore, but i like bismark and i like music there too, so maybe i should join someday there again :X
The lack of rewards or reason to run Bismark EX more than once was a mistake on SEs part.
I have no Bismark Ex clear. Granted, I never even had the chance to enter. Maybe it's because I'm a NIN. I'm working on getting my PLD up to see if that opens up more options. Otherwise, I'll just say forget it entirely and keep playing casually by spamming dungeons and roulette.
Sadly, I never unlock things quick enough to get into extremes. I find that unless you knock them out right away it becomes harder and harder to get parties for them (and fewer and fewer people are willing to take someone new to the encounter). Because I took my time getting to level 60 I'm afraid I missed out on the best opportunity to do this content, I feel your pain.
I've been in the same position as well. I'm looking to do BisEx for the Expanse Astroglobe, but I'm too worried about impatient and d-bags attacking me since I didn't get the chance to practice enough to get the fight down. Cut off from the rest of the fight due to low dps. Although if it was in DF, it would probably solve some of my problems. :/
