First, get a keyboard. Trust me. It will save you tons of frustration and potentially getting vote kicked if people misinterpret a mistake/being new as trolling or something like that.
Secondly... I recommend looking in game for groups. There's just not that many people on the forums and the most active people are out there playing the game itself.
