I'm currently sitting at i190, with 200 weapon, Alex body and law pants. My crit is at 727- seems like an insanely high number but I can feel it when I hit the huge crits,and often. Now, upgrading to the esoteric body and Alex pants constitutes a loss of 125 crit in exchange for roughly the same det. With Dervy's weights stating that crit is slightly higher than debt, and the fact that I love my high crit rate and don't want to lose damage by swapping all those points to DET, especially with its nerf to auto attacks, would it be worth it to upgrade or just leave these two pieces on and upgrade everything else or will I see more damage by upgrading?

You will also gain a total of 15 str which is huge. It's definitely worth to upgrade.

125 crit vs 15 str + 109 det weight wise thats like 20-21 points vs 30-31.

The upgrade will help your over all dps I want to say. Youll see higher parse numbers with the crit one, but you will average better and consistently with the upgrades.

I'd also like to add the food addition to this. If you need the accuracy food, your best bet is Flint Caviar, which has crit as its primary. However more importantly, if you dont need the acc food, then you want Morel salad. Without the det from the chest, your not going to be very efficient with the morel salad (det is too low to get full value)

I asked myself the same question two weeks ago, and I upgraded before even realized the food values.
