Caravan Security

I'm currently doing my first Caravan Security. I'm around 75% to Quarrymill at 42,49 on the map; 8 minutes to go. Things are pretty tough, I am on my own after all. It's a shame that I can't do this with other people in different companies. Didn't Yoshi say that content wouldn't afflict who you could play with? Why doesn't that apply here? I can't play with my friends because they are all spread across different nations.

Anyway! Things are going smoothly until I get attacked by a bunch of enemies. I dispatch of them, and then go about retrieving the chocobo that ran off; "Choco" to be exact. I approach it and interact. "You are currently unable to interact with Choco". I notice it's icon in the top left is red and "running". It seems like Mr.Choco is stuck in the terrain. Fantastic...So I've waited for 6 minutes now. It's nearly over actually; Choco hasn't moved, he's still stuck inside the blocking volume around the tree at 42,49.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Do you think we should be able to participate with other Company's with Caravan Security? Given that my first run, nobody else is present; it doesn't bode well for my selection of Company =/

Surprised. Thought those things would be crazy busy after the patch. You are only one participating? If that is the case, I think it safe to say that is some failed content.

It's actually pretty fun. I enjoyed it on my own, but with friends or other people it would have been much better; I think it's less about the content, and more about people's lazyness. Perhaps it's the timezone?. My friends in Ul'dah do Security all the time, because there is more people, and they have friends in the Company.
Perhaps I shouldn't have chose Gridania as my Company? Perhaps Gridania is the one with least population. If this is the case, public participation should be allowed at Caravans rather than just Company-Specific people. It also only holds a max of four people.
I just want to do this to get Seals along with Company Leves. But with no-one participating. Is it even possible...

Back to the problem at hand. Has anyone else experienced Chocobo's entering the blocking volumes and becoming stuck?

I chose Gridania as well :D though I haven't done the Security because I just did the GC quests yesterday. I'd say give it a few days before people start joining GC's. I know a majority joined, but there is Ifrit, beastmen strongholds and battle changes - I'm sure people are still testing the waters with other things rather than doing another queue up 'behest' type thing.

Yeah~ I agree. I hope it gets better ^^;!

Ppl don't seem to want to caravan in Camp Horizon, even when you tell them that seal rewards will double b/c of Foundation Day.

Tried this, waited for 15 min no one showed up, tried it anyway and failed pretty bad. Pretty sad no one does this since I just need 400 more seals for my Chocobo. I thought more people would be trying new content like this. Or maybe I just play too late at night.

It's because people are out to make money with their materia system and the strongholds. I tried it by myself r45 conjurer and I still had a rough time at some point. The mobs got overwhelming sometimes.. and I couldn't target them lol.
