Midnight Dew

This NPC.. where do I begin? First of all..

a) She's really frustrating to beat, because of the unfair random rule and high cards + small card pool.

b) She's provoking and insulting at the same time, which is not fun as the npc literally tells me to "Find myself a few new cards." I have friggin 70 cards more than this bitch does.

Honestly.. also beating her ass a good 500 I don't know times without getting Matoya is actually kind of pissing me off already.

How about making these cards drop a bit more often when there's no ACTUAL purpose of even playing TT in this game? The tournament is rigged and bad all together and battling other players is just for fun. If the tournament would actually be a challenge and worth it to enter, it'd be a whole different world for these cards, now these are just a time sink and nothing more and here I am.. still collecting them like a mindless fool and then complaining when some of them can take a lifetime to acquire -_-:

EDIT: I don't know, but after around over a thousand wins I finally got Matoya. I think I cried when that happened.

because RNG is so much fun. working as intended. please look forward to more of it on new 3.1 npcs. to increase the FUN people have had with our card drop RNG we decided to lower it even more on heavensward to raise FUN levels :)

Besides Tataru, who I assume exists to be one of those optional bosses you see in RPGs that are way more frustrating to be worth fighting, I have all the cards from all the TT NPCs. And of all of them, none of them came close to being as frustrating as Midnight Dew. Normally, I can get several cards a day. This woman? Three days to get a card. Not even the better cards you get this expansion (or at least, I think 8s on corners are better) are anywhere near this hard (for me. I may have been extremely lucky, four times in a row).

I don't know what they were thinking.

Her attitude isn't much better than this one NPC in the Weaver's Guild who claims she only collects cards cause they're pretty and she has no idea on how to play, yet she whips out a bunch of high level cards and Tidus. I'm calling shenanigans.

That's a very good point. For a rank 2 card, Yugiri was absurdly obnoxious to get, too.

My only problem with her is I'm convinced "reverse" is not an option for her roulette; been at her way too long to have not seen that.

Edit: OK I've gotten it now, but the rate is really really low; I saw it 4 times, both in sets of 2 in a row, which was odd. And with just eyeballing the rate it's gotta be something like 10x less common than other roulette games.

I feel ya man, same thing here, the drop rate for Matoya is ridiculous and very frustrating.

Yellow Moon is worse imo, a freaking TWO STAR card and I have managed to beat her hundreds of times at least not one Yugiri card and its the same story for all my friends that play TT heavily... No one has a fricken two star card. Drop rates need to go up.

Regional rules work on her, so just wait for Reverse rule like I did and go farm the card then. The drop rate for that card isn't that bad; it's just RNG. One of my guildmates got it on his 2nd win, while it took me ~150.

Tataru and Midnight Dew are the only two real problems, specially the first one. Getting close to 1000 wins and no Firion or Lightning card yet. If only winning was a bit easier I wouldn't mind farming them.

Maybe the easier NPC is basically achieving the same goal, all I know for sure is I just played Yellow Moon yet again with 17 wins and not one two star card drop lol...
