Log in, DC, relog, DC /yawn

I have been getting a tonne of DCs since the patch namely as follows:

(30002)1317956646,26266733,5
(30002)1317958172,0,5

I have so far been booted 8 times today alone all with the same error. I'm lagging like crazy and sometimes I'm not even staying logged in for more than a few minutes before I'm booted. Can you PLEASE start giving us some information as to what the errors ACTUALLY mean because it is really starting to piss me off.

I have the exact same problem, my error is

An error has occurred on the game server.

However for our investigation, we will need further information from yourself, and others, who are receiving this ‘30002’ error. Please reply to this thread, providing answers to the following questions:
1) User Environment
1. – Operating System? (IE: WinXP, Vista, Win7, 32bit? 64bit?)
2. - Antivirus program? (IE: Windows Defender, AVG, etc)
3. – Internet Service Provider?
2) Exact Error Message
3) Frequency of 30002 Error?
4) What area were you in when the error occurred?
5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc)
6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party)
7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error?
8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?

The information provided will be helpful for the Development Team to find a resolution to this issue.

This happens to EVERYONE once in a while, the server just start dc'ing with your account. It has happened with many LS members as well. If it starts, it will at peak times normally, often if you have just been in instanced areas. Best way to get rid of it is to log out for a couple of hours and try again.

1. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
2. Turned off while playing (avast)
3. Google chrome

2) Exact Error Message
Don't remember exact, but it says it is server side.

3) Frequency of 30002 Error?
When it first starts it will do it a) one time and stop, b) over and over for minutes, hours and some times days.

4) What area were you in when the error occurred?
Happens in every area, but often when some minutes after having been in wards etc. if it first have gone of once, the area it happens can be anywhere. (Happened to me in uldah every 15 seconds 2 days before the new patch. I tried logging on every ten minutes, for 5 hours, when i finally stayed online.)

5) What were you doing when the error occurred? (What type of actions, movements, etc)
Standing, crafting, walking, breathing

6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? (Please provide number of party members if you were in a party)
nope.

7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error?
Often 20+, may happen with noone nearby too, (i.e. wards)

8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error?
After 3102 error for 10 minutes, yes. But only able to log in for 15 seconds till it happens again.

2) Exact Error Message
An error has occurred on the game server.

3) Frequency of 30002 Error? If i'm in a highly populated place it will happen after about 2-5 minutes. If somewhere less populated around 10-15 minutes.

4) What area were you in when the error occurred? Uldah, limsa lominsa, cedarwood, iron lake, the airship dock, camp dragonhead, basically everywhere I've been too since the patch.

5) What were you doing when the error occurred? mining, crafting, fighting

6) Were you in a party at the time the error occurred? no

7) Estimate number of characters that were near you at time of error? anywhere between 0 and 20+. (the error happens alot)

8) Were you able to log back into FFXIV after the error? After about 5 minutes I can log back in again

No i dont. I just said that what works :(
At least 3102 was fixed in patch, so we can log right back in now :D

Fair enough. Unfortunately, I've been dealing with this for the past five hours. There was one streak of about 30 minutes with no disconnects, but the rest of the time has been riddled with it. I honestly would just give up, but my boyfriend and I are trying to get something done. :(
