Healers accuracy

Now I know this isn't new, but I just don't want it lost in the sea of posts, but these days it feels like healers have to do damage, it is not just a matter of doing stuff better, its a matter of you do damage or you wait an eternity for your static to have lots of gear, however I can't help but feel frustrated about the lack of accuracy in healer gear...
In my opinion I would gladly replace any stat that isn't Mind or Weapon Damage for accuracy but there just isn't the option...

I understand that giving cleric stance accuracy would possibly kill crafting jobs but buying crafted accessories shouldn't be so good and almost necessary for healers while just ok for tanks and useless for dps...

I kind of agree with the overall sentiment. The later floors of AS just need so much DPS, but healers a lot of it is RNG to misses.

I'm not sure accuracy on cleric stance or similar is the best way to do it. It's a bandaid, I guess.

Even on my whm I haven't seen myself miss very much. Maybe a handful of times. Really don't have to worry bout that on my sch.

I actually have yet to have that happen. Gotta love RNG.

For whatever reason, the devs made a very strong stance on healer dps and nerfed it to the floor by starving you of accuracy.

IMO, its all part of their plan to lengthen the time it takes to clear progression content. And it appears to have worked, as I think AS4 has only been cleared 3 times now? Whereas T13 was cleared on like the second or third day I think.

It's annoying yes, it takes longer due to needing to spend weeks sometimes to gear up as a dps to meet the check when a healer is missing most of their attacks.

It's not a nerf, 2.0 gear didn't had accuracy either. In a nutshell they always kept healer BiS gear 100-150 accuracy away from the instance caster cap. Also the "healer dps isn't accounted for" was for ARR raids, not for heavensward raids.

i115 was more than enough for t13, you only needed a melded vit gear to meet the HP check and overall you were good as long you did every mechanic right. DPS check was there but it wasn't as virgin tight as stuff like faust at the minimum ilv on release.

When it comes to time from release to clear, nothing beats T5 with world 1st taking more than 2 months for clear.

More to the point... it doesn't stop raid leaders from pressuring healers to do DPS you'll only realistically achieve if RNGsus loves you. (But I know SE can't do much about that. Sigh.)

This. I used to have to paper-tank one of the Golems in T9, and we would sometimes wipe because I'd miss between two and four attacks in a row, so I couldn't grab any aggro.
