[Suggestion] Mog station Friend Gifting

Good morning,

I bought a yukata for a friend, got the code and all was fine. Prior to buying it I checked the small print, the terms of use, even reddit, and the only information I could see about regions was the statement on how long the code would be active for. Since I couldn't find anything about the codes themselves being region locked I went ahead and bought one for my friend in the US for their birthday, and the code was stating "invalid" when she put it in. I put a support ticket in and they have said the gifting option on the mogstation does not go across region.

Please can it be written somewhere that the codes for items and the gifting are region locked? I don't care about a refund because I have plenty of characters on my own account who can use the item, I'm just more concerned about how there was nothing (that I could see) that stated it wouldn't go across the regions or was region locked.

That's a weird behaviour indeed! Especially, since item codes obtained with Blu-ray Disc or Pluches sold by SE are not region locked!

Yeah that was another thing I was thinking about when I purchased it. At the end of the day I'm not complaining when it's like two bucks, I'm more just surprised that Square Enix didn't have any writing on it as they're usually very good about that sort of thing.
