Reddit Nexus Light are slow or unhelpful

Also, for people to discover the quality of light content gives, people have to be A. in light-giving content (right now they're generally not), and B. with weapons that can gather light (extremely unlikely due to the low value of the relic quest). It's no surprise that attempts to coordinate information about light have essentially fallen dead.

or C for the loot drops (which they can desyth)

most of that stuff has no value to desynth- let alone it still requires you to have a weapon equipped that will accept light.
