Spirit bonding in Heavensward?

Generally is it worth it for the cost of the gear per piece (around what, 14-15k?) and if so, where do you guys SB your gear?

Or is it better to just stick to the old Urth's Fount grind?

Depends on what you are trying to SB and what your classes are. If you want to SB crafting/gathering equipment and have gathering at HW level, then the best option is SB via gathering with the moghome left side purchased items.
Urths Found is a very poor way to SB.

Question about that - do you need more kills @ 60 wearing level 50 gear as you did @ 50 wearing level 50 gear to SB that piece? Meaning, is it exp dependent? Now that you are getting... I don't know... 10% of the experience that you were getting before, does it take 10x longer?

It isnt effected by character exp gains. It takes just as long as it did before.

Unless they changed it then no. SBing should work based on the item level of whatever your SBing compared to whatever you're fighting. The optimal range is something like +3-4 levels I think (meaning in level 50 gear you'll get the most SB killing level 53-54 targets), though with the HP hike HW enemies saw it might be best to stick to ARR areas when SBing ilvl 50 and below.

On a side note I have no idea how old gear (say crafted level 50 ilvl 110) interacts with HW content when SBing. In ARR at 50 you compared ilvl to enemy level or ilvl of content (for dungeons and such). In HW, level 50 enemies are probably ilvl 100+, but I haven't tried out any spirit binding yet, except incidentally (while leveling).

i did a dungeon with a yeti fang earring as long as it about same ilvl as the gears that drop but it is very super slow process may test this out on the i120 stuff later just if i get the time to make accessories.

I don't think i can craft 300 gears to get what i need to time consuming i could maybe get it up to 20-30% gathering/crafting is slow even with melded/hq :(
