Is Collective Unconscious extremely glitchy for anyone else ?

Results seem really inconsistent. Some times the HoT from Collective Unconscious gets applied instantly. Sometimes I have to be idle for 5+ seconds for it to apply to people. I am constantly hitting situations where ill keep CU up for 2-3 seconds but no HoT gets applied at all. It can be very frustrating.

There is a server dot tic for how things like that get applied every 3 seconds. For example doton and shadow flare work the same way. You set it down but the monsters don't immediately get slowed or take damage

yup same here. its rather annoying!

Like mentioned by "o3o" there is a server tick. It mechanically works like Sacred Soil & Asylum. I think maybe like Shadowflare & Flame Arrow too, but I'm not too sure about those.

I also noticed the hot timer refresh is about 3 seconds, so in practice if you channel the whole thing, the additional hot when it is over is only about 10-12 seconds, because it doesn't refresh right at the end.

This. The hot tick is applied based on server dot tic, so in the worst case scenario you'll have to channel it for 3 seconds for everyone to receive the hot.
Just one of the several reasons why CU is not so great as it appears only reading its effect.
