Buget PC face off
hello im currently playing on a normal media laptop with a Intel 4000 card.... i have saved up to buy a desk top to go with my old 1920 monitor.
i have found four different pcs from cheapest to the most expensive,. ( Currently on low/ off and everything i can... only get 6-13 fps)
1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16883227537R 439
2.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883230051 489
3. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883230052 499 ( confused why this one is better then then second)
4. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883227614 599 (Way out of budget but comes with a SSD which im told will help FFXIV load times some as well)
Out of these four which will be able to play around 45 FPS if possible and is it worth adding a SSD for this game? Is NVIDA or AMD better? im very new to PC and the part differences so im hoping to get some incite from players with this knowledge!

NVIDIA and AMD are preferences. i have used both and prefer Nvidia for certain things but AMD has other things that Nvidia can't do and vice versa.
i would go with the build that comes with the SSD.
the 599 one. it is not much. you want a 2 gig minimum.
yes you have a better CPU but the GT 720 card will hold it back.
you might be able to grab 30 frames with the R7's. though the R7 250X is the better performance of it.

Man these builds are terrible first thing that popped up in google is way better option for a little bit more.
https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/DFPxF...-960-gaming-pc
Way better performance out of this build for 16$ more.
You could always drop the SSD to lower the overall price - sure load times will suffer but youll still get good FPS/Quality ratio regardless.
-
i would definitely go with that build over the other 4.
the original 4 are bad. i picked one out of the 4.
the list though is a build it yourself. so i can see why it might not be a go to in a way. unless you know someone who can.
i am on a SSD for the game and love it. when i load other games on the 2nd HDD i have. i see the suffering on load times.
-
wow sad to see all of them are bad... other pc build is more pricey and im not comfortable trying to assemble for the first time when the budget is already so tight. out of the ones i selected even though they are all bad will any get me over 40 fps

It's this just the video card holding these back?

The video and power supply in all of these units is where the slow down is going to be.

The reason I say Power supply is you couldn't even run a better video card with the 300-400 W power supply in these systems.
-
Yeah, with those systems you are paying for case flash, and they get sales by people thinking "Oh, yeah, this what a gaming PC should look like"
-
Having a SSD is a pretty big deal as well. Loading times on anything remotely new will be a killer without one.

Can anyone suggest another premade pc by chance (within five hundred) or another website or sites I can use? I'm hearing mixed things about newegg. Just coming from a laptop that has everything (I think ) turned off our as down as possible, even playing on a lower resolution I'm still getting terrible fps 6 with ppl 12 by myself.....which in turn makes the game not so enjoyable during group play..... Not to mention ninja mudra input..... I just want to ruin this on my 1920 on a decent fps... Not ultra but I would like to have others effects on to see the cool moves.... and explore the world without all the clipping...
