(Miner/Botanist) Collectible Tooltips
The tooltips for the below Miner and Botanist collectible abilities have very... questionable text as to how they function. I consider it 'fraudulent' text myself; I believe they need reworded to be similar to that of the crafting abilities, because as they are now, the abilities most certainly do NOT give you quality based on a percentage of your Perception (it's significantly less, or else has sharp diminishing returns on higher levels; again, this is not made clear). Like before with my Astrologian tooltip feedback, I have a before-and-after schema in mind.
Methodical Appraisal (before)
Appraise a gathering node for collectibles.
Increases item rarity by Perception x1.
Increases item wear by 10.
Uses one gathering attempt.
Methodical Appraisal (after)
Appraise a gathering node for collectibles.
Efficiency: 100%.
Increases item wear by 10.
Uses one gathering attempt.
Instinctual Appraisal (after)
Appraise a gathering node for collectibles.
Efficiency: 90-150%.
Increases item wear by 15.
Uses one gathering attempt.
Impulsive Appraisal (after)
Appraise a gathering node for collectibles.
Efficiency: 90%.
Increases item wear by 10.
Uses one gathering attempt.
Additional Effect: 30% chance that Discerning Eye activates.
Why efficiency? Because if I was supposed to gain Perception x1 from Methodical Appraisal, it'd be 400+ every use. It's 100-200 even on low 50's nodes while I'm a 56 Miner/Botanist. I'm not seeing numbers anywhere close to my Perception score, so clearly the three abilities in question don't work as listed. Thus, why I call it 'fraudulent' text. Perception plays a factor, but it sure isn't the listed factors by any stretch of the imagination.
So yes, I think they're questionable tooltips that need reviewed. :)
