Duty Roulette Completion Rewards

I've been doing a lot of Duty Roulette:Leveling and everything works fine until I get the Bowl of Embers trial.
Completing Bowl of Embers won't give me the usual rewards of extra XP / Gil / Flame Seals and any dungeon I get afterwards won't have any rewards anymore either.

Has anyone else experienced this or something similar with another dungeon/trial?

If you are doing the daily trials... you will only get rewarded once per day with the bonus. Check the description in the Duty Finder... it may note that your bonus has already been received.

I'm talking about the standard reward for completing duty roulette, Like I said, I get my flame seals just fine for every dungeon UNTIL Bowl of Embers shows up which doesn't give any and any dungeon after won't grant me any Flame Seals either.

In fact this week the first one I got from roulette was Bowl of Embers and Sastasha afterwards neither granting the standard reward.
I don't know if getting other trials has the same result as I've not gotten any of them through roulette yet.

Not sure if you have a firm grasp on how the roulettes work. Aside from any "In Need" reward, you basically get rewarded for first time runs--be that your first time through, someone else's first time through, or the daily rewards. There are also weekly limits imposed as well in some cases (some items have a weekly limit, and there is a hard limit to what you can hold at any time).

The first time you ever run some things (or first time on a particular job) you will get a unique bonus--once earned it is gone forever.

In some instances, when someone else is new you get a unique reward for helping that new player---you only get that when a new player is present.

And so and so and so forth.

There are a lot of instances that don't have any whomping big rewards out there (run several guildhest roulettes back to back---you may get a big reward for your first daily run, and then it can go to pot after that). Some don't even give you any rewards at all on their own--so without any daily/first timer bonuses you essentially don't get anything. Just as an example, look at the Ifrit Trial by itself:

The trial itself is not showing any rewards for completion. You get rewards from conditions linked to how you came to do the trial:

Completing Lord of the Inferno

OR

Running it as part of your Daily Leveling Roulette

Notice that the instances you mentioned are both in that same list: Bowl of Embers and then Sastasha. You got your once daily reward from doing Ifrit, and Sastasha is another instance that has no rewards of it's own--you have to be either completing it for quest reward, or getting a conditional reward through the DF rules (first timer bonus or Daily Roulette bonus). The once daily bonuses reset based on Japan time (roughly 11AM EST in the US).

Read the descriptions carefully when viewing what you are selecting in the Duty Finder. If it will be a restricted reward for your selection, the description should give a hint to that effect. Here is what is currently showing on my Leveling Roulette, because I didn't run it today:

I've also been clear enough that there is a basic reward for doing roulette, it has nothing to do with any of the extras you're talking about they're all working fine, completing a roulette always has a basic reward for doing random rather than directly queueing, I think I've been very clear about the fact that I'm NOT GETTING ANY Grand Company Seals AT ALL

I understand how roulette works just fine, It has worked fine for the last 2 months, but suddenly since last week Bowl of Embers breaks it. I can queue 10 times in a row, if I don't get Bowl of Embers I will get my basic reward and Grand Company Seals EVERY SINGLE TIME, if I get Bowl of Embers I don't get ANYTHING whether it's the 10th dungeon or 5th dungeon or the very first and then everything after stops giving rewards until I restart my game.

You did not make it clear that you were talking about the daily bonus at all before this post.

Read the descriptions carefully...the answer may be staring you in the face.

There are many instances that give no rewards unless certain conditions are met. The two you specifically mentioned are both ones that list no rewards for completion on their own. Either you are not meeting the conditions (already got the daily bonus, no first-time condition exists, aren't a job in need, aren't the required level, etc.)---or you are capped out for that reward. Note that you have hard caps and soft caps on some rewards.

Keep in mind also that some rewards reset at specific times and days---based on Japan time. As I mentioned earlier...daily reset is not our midnight---it happens at Japan's midnight. It is possible to get a daily bonus twice in one of our days because of this. I can get a daily bonus at 9am on Saturday and then get it again after 11am...then get no more until 11am Sunday. If the description on the roulette shows the colored text like demonstrated earlier, you have to wait for the reset.
