I think with the EU Data Center fast approaching the gil limit should be increased. You will have many EU players on the NA servers jump to the EU and vice versa. I know the limit is in place to prevent the economies from tanking, but I think it is too low. You can keep the retainers at around 100K each but your character should be able to carry over at least 5 mil.
