Variety in battle music lacking

I'm not sure if this was ever brought up but the battle music 14 is a bit meh.back in final fantasy 11 there was a different theme depending on the area.... Heck even based on the number of people in your party.

I'm not trying to say that ff14 needs to be like final fantasy 11 but ffs the music should. Love the way out was handled in 11 and would love it to jazz up a bit in 14.

And before anyone says "Ohh but there is variety...". The variety the game offers is a rehash of the same theme just in a slightly different way.

Well I wouldn't say it's a variety but the battle theme for each area in ARR is composed with different instruments (for example Coerthas uses a harpsichord, and I think more strings are in Mor Dhona), but yes they are all very similar. I do think it's a neat touch.

I like the HW areas' battle theme, not so much a fan of the 2.0 zones' themes.

They've been getting better with spicing things up with musical variety though, especially in dungeons.
