Continuum <Ctm> Recruitment Thread
Hey there, and thanks for checking out the thread! This thread will function as a general and up-to-date-post concerning Continuum's recruitment needs at any given time.
Continuum Who?
Continuum <Ctm> is a Phoenix-based midcore-ish FC that was formed by ex-Tranquility members after having had a good run in the aforementioned FC. After some eventual turbulence, we needed to go to a different direction and Continuum was that other direction. While it is inevitable some parallels are drawn between our old FC and our new FC - we're a new unit and have reinvented ourselves in some ways. I will spare the reader the theatrics, so all one needs to know for now is that we're a tightknit 16-man FC (2 groupfuls of raiders), and that we try to kill stuff. Basically, a midcore FC, but with some potential to go higher and faster, as it were.
We're an international FC with people from US and Europe alike, but raid during GMT-friendly hours (starting as early as 5PM GMT and ending at around 12AM GMT). Raiding days are not set in stone, though we always do raid on the reset days (TUE). We ramp up or dial down the manhours as needed, based on the content. So in this sense we're a highly flexible FC and interact with each other a lot. We tend to raid between 9 and 20 hours per week, or so. (Not set in stone at all - could be more).
Current PvE Progression
Progressing through A3S. Hitting the "tornado phase" and working from there and onwards. We have had very, very limited manhours on A3S due to having to recruit - as evident from the thread. However, for the hours we've raided - we've done good, and are looking forward to doing a lot more of raiding.
Current Recruitment Needs
As of 23rd of August 2015, we're looking for: 1x DRG, or 1x DRK/PLD/WAR (any tanking job is fine), as one of our tanks can reroll on demand.
Interested? Apply if:
- You are Savage Alex-eligible, preferrably with a kill of at least A1s. (Or at the very least, solid experience). The more experience you have, the better.
- You are - generally speaking - progression-minded and enjoy to raid a lot.
- You are able to use TS3.
- You are flexible when it comes to the raiding hours. Being generally available between 5PM and 12AM GMT would be good. Especially during the weekdays.
- You are a PC/PS4 player. (Not recruiting PS3-players due to the technical limitations).
- You enjoy being a part of a tightknit community that values socializing and outside-of-the-game-chatting a lot, in addition to the raiding.
- You are serious but down-to-earth. We're serious when so called for (criticising each other constructively and not always doing positive reinforcement), but also joke around. Easy-to-work-with people who are humble, ambituous and community-minded all in one is what we're looking for.
The aforementioned aside, we're obviously looking for skilled players when it comes to the applicants and their performances on the jobs they're applying as. More on this can be found on our website, with the recruitment form being very elaborate.
