So I am one of the few people that prefers to heal FL than anything else, I know something of a myth right? Lol anyway on SCH I moved all points from MND to VIT and use a fending right side, but since the new level cap I can no longer SCH PvP (at least not yet) so I have been running around with PvE class. I guess to get to the point, what's the general consensus on Bard point setup? Ie right side fending and points DEX or...?

As far as I know, you want all the damage you can get.
So, all dex.
As a bard you aren't anywhere near as high a target for single target lb as a healer, summoner or even black mage is so I don't see the point in wearing fending accessories. No point in nerfing your dmg on top of the nerf you already experience when ur not attacking from the sweet spot.
As a melee its very rare I ever lb a brd unless its some lone bard out in the middle of nowhere and even then I'd have to be in an extreme rush to kill him right away for me to resort to using my lb on him as I would prefer to just kill them outright and save the lb for aforementioned jobs or more tactical situations.
No one should be limit breaking a bard in a group skirmish when those other jobs are present but if they do just take the death and feel better knowing that they pretty much wasted a lb on a job thats really low in kill priority. Single target limit breaking a bard is almost as bad as using it on a tank. Only exception I can think of really where you would see it would be on a brd/tank that has battle high/fever or if killing that unfortunate brd with the lb would give you battle high/fever for yourself.
All DEX until you get battle high/fever - then switch out one accesssory to VIT so u can survive a melee LB at full HP.
