So many items are dated now, it's unreal. Why did they have to be dated? Didn't you just change the recipes to be less cumbersome? Why did almost all of the crap I have go dated? Does that mean there's like, 5 armor pieces between 1 and 50 that you can even craft any more? This patch is less than what I would like it to be...
The whole dated thing is very strange to me too. It seems like every recipe that is pre 1.19 is now a dated item. I don't know what they are thinking, but i'm sure they have a plan for it. Just have to wait and see I guess.
Instead of changing everyone's gear to something different (to avoid people flipping tables), they just made it all dated (which is better than what XI's dev team would've done. They'd have just deleted it and told us to suck it up and make new gear). This way, we get to keep all our old gear and use it the way it used to be (mostly) and have the opportunity to buy new stuff (And people flip tables anyway).
I just wish there was a filter on the search counter to show/hide dated stuff. I wanna see whos selling NEW gear, not the same old stuff that's not so good anymore D:
PS: I personally like the concept of getting new gear, so yeah I spent some money on my old gear but so what. Its just pixels, and if it means I get even shinier pixels.. woo!
