Forum Feature Suggestion

Hi!

As a newcomer to the FFXIV forum, I noticed that I had a character limit on my posts that was checked against before my post could go through. It started at 500 characters, and has increased to 1000, and seems to be based on account longevity or post count.

I'd like to see two things added that could improve awareness around this and help us post more compactly:

• Somewhere, list our character count limit, and the criteria for reaching the next tier.
• Add a maxlength attribute to the textarea element that matches our character limit, which would not allow text beyond a certain length to be typed. If needed, I can provide a code snippet that would be helpful in this area.

These two small improvements would help the forum experience a great deal. Thanks! :)
