Can't believe you made the same mistake thrice.

No one did behests because their rewards sucked.
No one did sidequests because their rewards sucked.

No one's going to do the Company leves/expeditions/supply/provision quests because..

You guessed it.

Their rewards suck.

There's a defend a scholar company leve in Cassiopeia Hollow. You defend an NPC for a solid 15 minutes straight. Seal reward?

40. 40 seals. For a 15 minute duration and a leve allowance.

The supply/provision quests? 3 iron ingots for 6 seals? Really?

The expedition? Good luck on finding anyone to do that quest with. From what I've heard, it's not much better, players earning anywhere from 25-80 seals a 20 minute run.

They've been making the same kinda mistakes in XI for 10 years, after a while you just become numb to it or give up. It will never change.

These games just are not games of reward, honestly.

Well its not like they can throw rewards at people left and right, this is not some offline single player game, they have to keep some kind of balance.

Ouch @ those company levequest rewards. ._.

The caravan escort gives a decent amount if you don't lose any cargo (which is incredibly hard solo). I got 140 seals earlier duo with a CNJ (I am a CNJ as well). But we are getting double the amount of seals on that event while Foundation Day is going on... so 70 seals/run after the event is over. :(

Because everyone's asking for end game gear and 1 million gil? There's plenty of ways to give worthwhile reward without breaking the game.

That's funny, I just did a quest line in FFXI and got a KI that gives me 10% more HP/MP and Stats to my Curor Buffs in Abyssea.

People won't be happy with quest rewards till it levels you to max or makes you rich.

...So wait, what should you be rewarded for doing something for almost..no time at all? If it was an hour investment and you only got 10 seals, there's a problem -- 15 minutes is nothing.

The Order of the Twin Adder on Saronia ordered something like 10k pieces of maple lumber and they give 1, ONE, seal for each. I bet they'll have to wait a while before the quota is filled.
